Penn State has extended an offer to Edna Karr safety Caleb Johnson, a rising junior in the Class of 2027. Johnson stands at 6 feet 1 inch and weighs 190 pounds, with a 4.5-second 40-yard dash time and a 35-inch vertical jump. He recorded 75 tackles and three interceptions as a sophomore for the Cougars. Johnson has also received offers from Louisiana State, Texas A&M and Alabama. The 4A standout is considered one of the top safety prospects in the state of Louisiana. Johnson is expected to attend several camps this summer, including the LSU and Alabama football camps, before making a decision on his college commitment. He plans to take official visits to all three schools in the fall, with a potential commitment coming in the spring of 2027.
