Baton Rouge, LA - Catholic High School has hired Ryan Thompson as its new strength and conditioning coordinator. Thompson, a 2012 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, brings nine years of experience in collegiate and high school strength and conditioning. The Bears, a 5A program, finished 7-4 last season and are looking to improve their competitiveness in the LHSAA's District 4-5A. Thompson's hiring is seen as a key move in the program's offseason efforts to build depth and athleticism. With a strong recruiting class on the horizon, Thompson's expertise is expected to help the Bears develop the physicality needed to compete with top programs in the district.
