Catholic High's Malik Davis Commits to Army Football
Malik Davis, a 5A cornerback from Catholic High, has committed to Army Football. The Class of 2026 standout joins the Black Knights' defensive backfield, where he will fit into a scheme that emphasizes aggressive, attacking coverage. Davis cited the team's need for depth at cornerback as a major factor in his decision, as well as the opportunity to contribute immediately. He also praised Army's academic program, which he believes will provide him with a strong foundation for future success. Davis had previously committed to Tulane in 2023 but decommitted after one year. He attended Army's summer camp in June, where he impressed coaches with his speed and agility. Davis is expected to sign a National Letter of Intent in the coming weeks. He is the first Catholic High player to commit to Army since 2019.
