Michigan Extends Offer to Catholic Memorial TE Carson Smith
The University of Michigan has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2027 tight end Carson Smith of Catholic Memorial High School in Massachusetts. Standing at 6-foot-4 and weighing 220 pounds, Smith averaged 12.5 yards per reception last season, hauling in 25 catches for 315 yards and two touchdowns. The Div I standout has also received offers from Boston College and Syracuse. Smith's impressive performance at Catholic Memorial's summer skills camp has caught the attention of college scouts, and he is expected to attend a Michigan camp later this month. Smith's recruiting timeline is heating up, with plans to make official visits to Michigan and Boston College in the fall. He is currently ranked as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and is expected to make a decision by the end of his junior year.
