Hunter Jackson Commits to TCU
Everett Crimson Tide kicker Hunter Jackson has committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs, the school announced Thursday. The Class of 2026 standout chose TCU over other Division I suitors due to the Horned Frogs' strong kicking game and potential depth chart opportunity. Jackson cited the program's emphasis on developing kickers within the system as a major factor in his decision. The Crimson Tide's kicker averaged 42 yards per punt and made 12 of 15 field goal attempts as a junior. TCU's 3-4 scheme and emphasis on special teams will allow Jackson to showcase his skills, particularly in the kicking game. Jackson was previously committed to the University of Massachusetts, but decommitted in May to explore other options. He plans to enroll at TCU in the fall of 2027 and will have three years of eligibility remaining.
