With the NCAA's Emerging Sports for Women program adding women's flag football in January 2026, the Falcons' coach believes the sport's growth will create new opportunities for players. The University of Nebraska is the only Power 4 school with a fully funded D1 varsity program, offering scholarships to top talent. NAIA programs like Ottawa University in Kansas, Keiser University in Florida and Midland University in Nebraska also offer active scholarships. UT Arlington in Texas is a developing D1 program.
