๐Ÿ“ DeMatha Catholic StagsยทThursday, July 9, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As the MPSSAA flag football pilot program expands to new districts in Texas, top college programs are taking notice of the talent emerging from the Lone Star State. DeMatha Catholic Stags players, in particular, are attracting attention from verified scholarship programs. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is actively recruiting Stags players for its inaugural 2028 season. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, also have up to 12 scholarships available for flag football. Midland University, Nebraska, is another active recruiter. UT Arlington, in development, is not yet offering scholarships. Stags players can take concrete steps to explore these opportunities by attending summer camps and reaching out to coaches directly.
