Elijah Williams Commits to Kansas State
St. Frances Academy cornerback Elijah Williams has committed to Kansas State University for the Class of 2025. The 5-foot-11, 175-pound defender chose the Wildcats over offers from Maryland, Virginia Tech and West Virginia. Williams, a standout in the MIAA, will join a Kansas State secondary that employs a multiple-defensive-back scheme, which aligns with his aggressive playing style. He projects to compete for a starting cornerback spot as a freshman, given the current depth chart. Kansas State's strong academic reputation and high graduation rate also appealed to Williams, who maintains a 3.5 GPA. Williams previously committed to Maryland in March but decommitted in June after re-evaluating his options. He is expected to enroll at Kansas State in January 2025 and participate in spring drills. Williams' commitment is a significant pickup for the Wildcats, who are rebuilding their secondary for the 2025 season.
