Eagles' Elijah Robinson Kicks Off New Chapter
Windham Eagles kicker Elijah Robinson connected on 12 of 15 field goal attempts last season, including a 55-yard game-winner against Class A rival, Lisbon High School. The 55-yard field goal marked a new school record for the Eagles, who compete in the Maine Principals' Association Class A South division. Robinson, a transfer from out-of-state, quickly earned a starting role on the Eagles' special teams unit. Prior to his transfer, Robinson played for a school in New Jersey, where he developed a strong leg and accuracy on his kicks. This summer, Robinson is attending a kicking camp in Massachusetts, where he is working on his technique and building relationships with college scouts. As the Eagles prepare for the upcoming season, Robinson's strong leg and clutch performances will be key factors in their success. Scouts are watching to see if Robinson can maintain his accuracy and consistency, particularly from beyond 50 yards.
