Darius Davis Commits to Navy
Cheverus Stags offensive lineman Darius Davis has committed to play for the United States Naval Academy. The Class of 2026 prospect selected Navy after a thorough evaluation of his athletic and academic opportunities. Davis cited the Midshipmen's triple-option offense as a key factor in his decision, noting that his skills as a guard would be a valuable asset in the scheme. He also expressed enthusiasm for the academic program at Navy, which aligns with his interests in engineering. Davis had previously considered other Division I programs, but ultimately chose to commit to the Naval Academy in late June. As a rising senior, Davis will now focus on leading the Stags' line and preparing for the upcoming season. He is the first Cheverus player to commit to Navy in several years.
