๐Ÿ“ Leavitt HornetsยทTuesday, July 14, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The MPA's flag football pilot district expansion has created new opportunities for Texas girls to compete at the highest level. As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, the University of Nebraska is leading the charge with a verified Power 4 scholarship program. Coaches Liz and Katie Sowers are actively recruiting top talent, including athletes from the Leavitt Hornets. Other NAIA programs, such as Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are also offering up to 12 scholarships. Midland University, Nebraska, is an active recruiter, while UT Arlington is in development. Texas athletes can leverage these verified scholarship pathways by attending summer camps, showcasing their skills, and building relationships with coaches. The Leavitt Hornets' Turner can take the lead in exploring these opportunities.
