Cheverus Stags TE Jordan Martin Commits to University of Houston
Jordan Martin, a 2026 tight end from Cheverus High School, has committed to the University of Houston. Martin, who stands 6-foot-4 and weighs 225 pounds, chose the Cougars over other Power Five offers from Boston College and Syracuse. The Cheverus Stags' standout tight end cited Houston's pro-style offense as a major factor in his decision, as he believes it will allow him to utilize his skills as a blocker and receiver. Martin also praised the Cougars' tight end depth chart, stating that he sees an opportunity to contribute immediately. Additionally, he was drawn to the University of Houston's strong academic program, which he believes will provide him with a solid foundation for his future. Martin did decommit from the University of Connecticut in April after visiting the campus. He will join the Cougars' program in the fall of 2026.
