Tyler Young Commits to Army Football Program
Muskegon Big Reds tight end Tyler Young, a Class of 2025 standout, has committed to the Army Black Knights football program. The 6-foot-4, 225-pound Young chose Army due to its pro-style offense, which aligns with his skillset and athletic abilities. He also cited the program's depth chart opportunity at tight end and the academic rigor of the United States Military Academy. Young had previously considered several Division I programs but ultimately decided on Army for its strong balance of athletics and academics. The Big Reds' tight end will look to contribute to the Black Knights' offense, which averaged 24.5 points per game in 2024. Young is the first commitment from Michigan in the Class of 2025 for Army. He will report to West Point in June 2025 to begin his prep work before enrolling in the fall.
