Davison Cardinals Hire New Strength and Conditioning Coordinator

๐Ÿ“ Davison CardinalsยทThursday, July 16, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

The Davison Cardinals football program has announced the hiring of Ryan Thompson as its new strength and conditioning coordinator. Thompson, a certified strength and conditioning specialist, brings 10 years of experience working with high school and collegiate athletes. The Cardinals, a 2023 MHSAA Division 1 playoff participant, finished the season with a 7-4 record and look to build on that momentum heading into the 2026 campaign. Thompson's addition to the staff is expected to play a key role in the team's off-season development, particularly in the areas of powerlifting and speed and agility training. With a strong recruiting class already on board, the Cardinals are poised to make a push for a district title this fall. The team begins its off-season training in August, with a focus on building a more formidable opponent for the 2026 season.
