Wayzata Trojans Break Ground on $3M Facility Upgrade
The Wayzata Trojans, a 6A program from Plymouth, Minn., have officially broken ground on a $3 million facility upgrade. The project includes renovations to the team's weight room, locker rooms and training facilities. The upgrade is expected to provide a competitive advantage for the Trojans, who finished 8-3 last season and reached the section semifinals. The new facilities will also aid in recruiting efforts, as the program looks to attract top talent in the state. "This upgrade is a game-changer for our program," said Wayzata head coach. "It will give our players the tools they need to succeed on the field and help us compete with the best teams in 6A." The upgraded facilities are expected to be completed in time for the start of the season. The Trojans will begin summer camp in late July and will release their first highlight tape in early August.
