Bryce Harris, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound linebacker from the Class of 2026 at Wayzata High School, has committed to play for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Harris, a key contributor for the 6A Trojans, chose the Red Raiders for their aggressive 3-4 defensive scheme, which aligns with his athletic abilities. The depth chart at Texas Tech is expected to be competitive, but Harris is projected to see significant playing time as a freshman. The university's strong academic program, which offers a wide range of engineering and business courses, also played a significant role in Harris' decision. Harris previously held a commitment to the University of Minnesota, but decommitted in June after reevaluating his options. Harris' commitment to Texas Tech adds to the Red Raiders' growing recruiting class for the Class of 2026.
