Malik Brown Commits to Arkansas
Eden Prairie wide receiver Malik Brown has committed to the University of Arkansas for the Class of 2027. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound receiver chose the Razorbacks over other Power Five offers from Minnesota and Iowa State. Brown's commitment is a significant pickup for Arkansas, which is seeking to bolster its receiving corps. The Razorbacks' spread offense should be a good fit for Brown's skills, and he will likely compete for playing time immediately. Arkansas' strong academic program and research opportunities were also attractive to Brown. Brown had previously committed to Minnesota but reopened his recruitment in April. He attended Arkansas' summer camp in June and reportedly developed a strong relationship with the coaching staff. Brown is a three-star prospect and one of the top wide receivers in the state of Minnesota. He is expected to sign with Arkansas in the coming weeks.
