Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders Name New Offensive Line Coach

The Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders have hired former St. Paul Central assistant coach, Tom Johnson, as their new offensive line coach. Johnson replaces outgoing coach, Mike Smith, who accepted a position at a private school. The Raiders finished last season with a 7-3 record and a third-place finish in the Metro Red division. Johnson's hiring is expected to bolster the Raiders' recruiting efforts, particularly in the Twin Cities area, where he has established relationships with top linemen. With the addition of Johnson, the Raiders' coaching staff now has a more experienced presence on the offensive line, which could give them an edge in the competitive 5A Metro Red division. The team begins August camp in preparation for the upcoming season.
