Eden Prairie Eagles' Flag Football Prospect Draws Interest from Nebraska, NAIA Programs

๐Ÿ“ Eden Prairie EaglesยทMonday, July 20, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Eden Prairie Eagles' rising flag football star, Emily Johnson, has caught the attention of college coaches from the University of Nebraska and NAIA powerhouses. According to sources, Johnson's exceptional skills have drawn interest from the Nebraska Cornhuskers' inaugural 2028 flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also shown interest in recruiting Johnson. To explore verified scholarship pathways, Johnson should reach out to the coaches at these institutions to discuss their recruitment processes and requirements. As a 6A athlete, Johnson is eligible for NCAA D1 and NAIA programs, and UT Arlington's developing program may also be a potential fit. Midland University, Nebraska, is another NAIA program actively recruiting flag football talent.
