Darius Davis Commits to UTSA Roadrunners
Darius Davis, a Class of 2027 running back from Eden Prairie, has committed to the University of Texas at San Antonio Roadrunners. The 6A standout chose UTSA over several other Division I offers, citing the team's up-tempo offense as a key factor in his decision. Davis believes he can contribute immediately to the Roadrunners' backfield, where he sees an opportunity to compete for a starting role. Academically, Davis is drawn to UTSA's strong business program, which aligns with his post-graduation plans. This marks a new commitment for Davis, who had previously been committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in May. The Eden Prairie Eagles' all-time leading rusher in Class 6A, Davis is expected to be a key player in the team's 2027 campaign. His commitment to UTSA is a significant addition to the Roadrunners' 2027 recruiting class.
