Carson Brown Commits to Iowa State
Elk River Elks offensive lineman Carson Brown has committed to Iowa State University. The Class of 2026 prospect chose the Cyclones over other Power Five offers, citing the team's need for interior linemen and the opportunity to compete for a starting spot immediately. Brown's commitment comes after a decommitment from Minnesota in March, where he had been committed since last summer. Iowa State's academic program, which offers a strong engineering curriculum, also factored into Brown's decision. The 6-foot-4, 290-pound lineman is expected to contribute on the interior line for the Cyclones, who run a pro-style offense. Brown's commitment adds depth to Iowa State's recruiting class, which is shaping up to be one of the top classes in the Big 12.
