Raiders Flag Football Prospect Draws Interest from Nebraska, NAIA Programs
Cretin-Derham Hall Raiders flag football standout, junior wide receiver Emily Johnson, has caught the attention of college coaches. According to sources, Johnson has received verified interest from the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 flag football program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also expressed interest in Johnson's recruitment. Midland University, Nebraska, has also reached out to the Raiders' coaching staff. As Johnson navigates her recruitment, she is advised to focus on developing her skills at the upcoming summer camps, particularly at the University of Nebraska's Power Camp, scheduled for July 31-August 2. Johnson can also expect to receive official scholarship offers from Ottawa University and Keiser University, which offer up to 12 scholarships annually.
