Caleb Young Commits to Houston Football Program
Lee's Summit West Titans running back Caleb Young has committed to the University of Houston's football program. The Class of 2027 standout made the decision after a thorough evaluation of his options. Young cited Houston's pro-style offense as a key factor in his decision, feeling it aligns with his skills and playing style. He also noted the opportunity to contribute immediately as a freshman, given the Cougars' current depth chart at running back. Additionally, Young praised Houston's academic programs, stating they will provide him with the support he needs to excel in the classroom. Young had previously considered several other Power Five programs, but ultimately chose the University of Houston. He is expected to enroll in the fall and participate in the team's summer camp.
