Texas Offers Defensive Back Elijah Wilson of Lee's Summit West
The University of Texas has extended a scholarship offer to Class of 2025 safety Elijah Wilson of Lee's Summit West High School. Wilson, a 6-foot standout, recorded 75 tackles and 10 interceptions as a junior. He also returned two punts for touchdowns and averaged 12.5 yards per return. The 5-foot-10, 180-pound Wilson has also received offers from Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. As a sophomore, he was named first-team all-conference and was a second-team all-state selection. With the offer from Texas, Wilson's recruiting timeline is heating up. He plans to attend several camps this summer, including the Texas Football Camp and the Missouri Football Camp. Wilson will also participate in the annual Nike Football Training Camp in July. He is expected to make his college decision by the end of his senior year.
