Caleb Taylor Commits to TCU for 2027 Season
Rockhurst Hawklets defensive end Caleb Taylor has committed to play for the TCU Horned Frogs beginning with the 2027 season. Standing at 6-foot-3 and weighing 240 pounds, Taylor is a dominant force on the field, boasting 25 sacks in his first four years of high school football. The Class of 2026 standout was a key contributor to the Hawklets' success, earning All-District honors in each of the past three seasons. Taylor cited TCU's 3-4 defensive scheme as a major draw, believing his skills will translate well to the Horned Frogs' system. He also praised the university's strong academic program and the opportunity to compete for playing time immediately. Taylor had previously committed to Kansas State in 2023, but decommitted after one year to explore other options.
