Christian Brothers College Cadets' prospects are taking note of the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 girls flag football season. The Big Ten program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is set to debut with NCAA Division 1 status. Nebraska's entry into the Power 4 schools' ranks has sparked interest among local athletes. "We're expecting a strong turnout at our summer camps," said a Nebraska spokesperson. "Prospective student-athletes can register for our camps to showcase their skills and get a head start on the recruitment process." Meanwhile, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are also actively recruiting for their NAIA programs. Midland University, Nebraska, offers up to 12 scholarships. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA Division 1 program, is not yet offering scholarships.
