Jayden Martin Commits to Arkansas
Oak Grove quarterback Jayden Martin has committed to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks, the school announced. The 6A Class of 2026 signal-caller chose the Razorbacks over offers from several other Power Five programs. Martin, a dual-threat quarterback, is expected to fit seamlessly into Arkansas' spread offense, which emphasizes speed and agility. The Razorbacks' depth chart at quarterback is currently wide open, with several key players set to graduate after the 2026 season. Martin cited the school's strong academic programs and reputation for producing successful graduates as a major factor in his decision. He had previously committed to another program, but decommitted in order to explore other options. Arkansas coach Sam Pittman and his staff have been recruiting Martin for over a year, and their efforts paid off with his commitment. Martin is expected to enroll at Arkansas in the summer of 2027, pending final clearance from the NCAA.
