Starkville Flag Football Prospect Garners Interest from Nebraska, NAIA Programs

Starkville Yellow Jackets' standout flag football player, Emily Wilson, has caught the attention of college coaches from the University of Nebraska and NAIA powerhouse Ottawa University, Kansas. The 6A Yellow Jackets' program has been working closely with Wilson to develop her skills, and her efforts have paid off as she draws interest from verified scholarship programs. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, will be offering flag football scholarships starting in 2028, and Ottawa University, Kansas, has up to 12 scholarships available. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also actively recruiting Wilson. As Wilson continues to hone her skills, she is advised to research and reach out to these programs to learn more about their scholarship opportunities and application processes.
