NIL Guide: What AA Coaches Look for on Junior Day Visits

๐Ÿ“ Great Falls BisonยทSaturday, July 4, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As a top OL prospect at an AA program like Great Falls Bison, you're likely to receive junior day invitations from top colleges. To make a lasting impression, focus on the following key areas during your visit. Coaches want to see your technique, particularly in pass protection and run blocking. Be prepared to demonstrate your ability to execute a variety of blocking schemes, including zone and man blocking. Additionally, showcase your athleticism by participating in drills that test your speed, agility and strength. For example, be able to complete a 40-yard dash in under 5.5 seconds and perform 20-25 reps on a bench press. Finally, engage with coaches and ask thoughtful questions about their program and expectations. By doing so, you'll demonstrate your maturity and commitment to your craft.
