Great Falls Bison Flag Football Prospect Eyes College Opportunities
Multisport standout Emily Wilson of the Great Falls Bison is shifting her focus to girls flag football in pursuit of a college scholarship. Wilson, a rising senior, has already garnered interest from several NAIA programs. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, are actively recruiting her, while Midland University, Nebraska, has also extended an invitation to attend their summer camp. The University of Nebraska, set to launch its inaugural NCAA Division I flag football program in 2028, is also monitoring Wilson's progress. With Power 5 coaches Liz and Katie Sowers at the helm, the Cornhuskers' program is expected to be highly competitive. Wilson will need to meet NCAA eligibility requirements and secure a spot on the roster. To increase her chances, she is encouraged to submit highlight tapes and register for upcoming camps and combines.
