Florida Extends Offer to 2026 CB Cade Young
Florida has extended an offer to 2026 cornerback Cade Young of Weddington High School in Weddington, North Carolina. Young stands 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 170 pounds. He recorded 43 tackles, 12 pass breakups and 2 interceptions as a sophomore in 2024. Young also holds offers from Clemson, North Carolina and Virginia Tech. He participated in the 2025 Shrine Bowl of the Carolinas and was named to the 2024 All-Charlotte Observer first team. Young is expected to attend summer camps at Florida and Clemson in July. He plans to make official visits to all four schools in the fall. The Weddington Warriors are preparing for the 2026 season under new head coach John Smith. Young is considered one of the top cornerbacks in the state of North Carolina for the 2026 class.
