Grimsley Whirlies Flag Football Players Target Verified Scholarship Programs

๐Ÿ“ Grimsley WhirliesยทWednesday, July 22, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Girls flag football players from the Grimsley Whirlies, a 4A program in Greensboro, are advised to focus on verified scholarship programs as they prepare for the inaugural 2028 season. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is one of the Power 4 schools offering flag football scholarships. Other options include Ottawa University, Kansas, which offers up to 12 NAIA scholarships, and Keiser University, Florida, an active recruiter in the NAIA Sun Conference. Midland University, Nebraska, is also an active recruiter. While UT Arlington is developing its NCAA D1 program, it has not yet begun offering scholarships. Grimsley Whirlies players can research these programs and reach out to coaches to learn more about eligibility and application requirements.
