Malik Harris Commits to Navy
Malik Harris, a 4A wide receiver from Mallard Creek High School in Charlotte, North Carolina, has committed to play football at the United States Naval Academy. Harris, a Class of 2026 standout, chose Navy over other Division I offers. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound receiver fits into Navy's triple-option offense, which emphasizes speed and agility. Harris's skills align with the Midshipmen's scheme, and he projects to compete for a starting spot as a freshman. The academic program at Navy also appealed to Harris, who has a strong GPA and plans to pursue a degree in business. Harris previously held offers from Coastal Carolina and Appalachian State before committing to Navy. He participated in Navy's summer football camp, where he impressed coaches with his athleticism and work ethic.
