Whirlies Flag Football Prospects Eye Ottawa or Keiser Camps for Scholarship Clarity

๐Ÿ“ Grimsley WhirliesยทFriday, July 31, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

Grimsley High's top flag football players are being courted by Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, as both NAIA powerhouses look to bolster their rosters for the 2028 season. The Whirlies' standout flag athletes are encouraged to attend either school's summer camps to get a firsthand look at their scholarship programs. Ottawa, a national flag football powerhouse, offers up to 12 scholarships, while Keiser University is known for its active recruitment efforts. By attending these camps, local prospects can gain valuable insight into the schools' coaching staffs, facilities and overall program culture. Liz and Katie Sowers, the University of Nebraska's inaugural head coaches, will be keeping a close eye on these camps as well, as the Cornhuskers' program continues to develop.
