West Fargo Packers Flag Football Players Target Nebraska's Inaugural Season
As the University of Nebraska prepares to launch its inaugural NCAA Division I flag football season in 2028, the West Fargo Packers are taking notice. Coached by the renowned duo of Liz and Katie Sowers, the Cornhuskers are expected to be a powerhouse in the Big Ten. For West Fargo prospects, this means a new scholarship opportunity is on the horizon. Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also been actively recruiting flag football talent. Midland University, Nebraska, is another NAIA program with a strong presence in the region. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA Division I program, is also worth monitoring. To stay ahead of the competition, Packers players are encouraged to create highlight tapes and research these programs to determine the best fit for their skills and goals.
