The recruiting trail for the Class of 2027 is heating up, and Millard South Patriots linebacker Elijah Johnson is at the forefront. Johnson, a 6-foot-2, 220-pound inside linebacker, has received a scholarship offer from Texas A&M. He has also been courted by Nebraska and Iowa State, both of whom have offered the rising junior. On the field, Johnson recorded 105 tackles and 12 sacks as a sophomore, earning him Second-Team All-State honors. His speed and agility allow him to cover sideline-to-sideline, making him a valuable asset to any defensive unit. With the offer from Texas A&M, Johnson's recruitment is expected to gain significant attention in the coming months. Johnson plans to take official visits to Texas A&M and Nebraska in the fall, with a decision likely to be made by the end of his junior year.
