Isaiah Martin: The New Face of Kearney's Offense

Kearney Bearcats quarterback Isaiah Martin threw for 275 yards and three touchdowns in his first start for the Class B team, a 35-21 win over Omaha Skutt in Week 5 of the 2025 season. The transfer from out-of-state Ohio had only been with the team for a month before earning the starting role. In his first season in Nebraska, Martin completed 62.1% of his passes and threw for 1,823 yards, leading the Bearcats to a 9-2 record and a trip to the state semifinals. As a sophomore, Martin's strong arm and quick release made him a standout in the Ohio high school ranks. Now, scouts are watching to see how he adapts to the Class B level in Nebraska and if he can maintain his impressive production from last season.
