Cade Young Commits to Arkansas
Exeter Blue Hawks wide receiver Cade Young has committed to play for the Arkansas Razorbacks. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound Class of 2026 prospect chose Arkansas over offers from Boston College, UConn and Buffalo. Young's commitment to the Razorbacks is a result of the school's fit with his playing style. Arkansas' spread offense, which features a strong emphasis on vertical passing, aligns with Young's skills as a deep threat. Additionally, the Razorbacks' depth chart at wide receiver is expected to be competitive, providing Young with an opportunity to contribute early in his collegiate career. Arkansas' academic program, which offers a range of interdisciplinary studies, also appealed to Young. He had previously committed to UConn but decommitted in April to reopen his recruitment. Young is expected to sign with Arkansas in the coming weeks.
