Paramus Catholic Paladins Girls Flag Football Athletes Eye New Scholarship Opportunities Amid NJSIAA Pilot Program

๐Ÿ“ Paramus Catholic PaladinsยทSaturday, July 18, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

As the NJSIAA flag football pilot program expands into new districts, Texas athletes are gaining increased exposure and potential scholarship pathways. However, for those outside the Lone Star State, other programs are emerging as viable options. The University of Nebraska, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, will launch its inaugural NCAA Division 1 flag football season in 2028. Ottawa University, Kansas, a national powerhouse with up to 12 NAIA scholarships available, is actively recruiting. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also actively recruiting flag football athletes. UT Arlington, a developing NCAA Division 1 program, is expected to offer scholarships in the future. Paramus Catholic Paladins, a Non-Public B powerhouse, is well-positioned to capitalize on these emerging opportunities.
