The Clemson Tigers have extended a scholarship offer to 2026 wide receiver Hunter Davis of St. Peter's Prep in Jersey City, New Jersey. Davis, a 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver, has been a standout performer for the Marauders, hauling in 34 receptions for 621 yards and 7 touchdowns as a sophomore. He has also been clocked at a 4.5-second 40-yard dash and boasts a vertical jump of 36 inches. In addition to Clemson, Davis has already received offers from Penn State, Michigan State, and Rutgers. The talented receiver has been drawing attention from college scouts throughout the spring and summer, and it's clear that his hard work is paying off. With the 2026 recruiting class still in its infancy, Davis is expected to be one of the top wide receiver prospects in the state. As the summer heats up, Davis is expected to visit several schools, including Clemson, Penn State, and Michigan State, in the coming months. The Marauders' star receiver is expected to make his official visit to Clemson in late August, with a decision potentially coming in early September.
