Carson White Commits to SMU
Paramus Catholic Paladins wide receiver Carson White, a Class of 2025 standout, has committed to Southern Methodist University. White, a Non-Public B standout, chose SMU after considering multiple Division I programs. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound receiver cited the Mustangs' high-powered offense, which features a pass-happy scheme that should play to his strengths, as a major factor in his decision. He also praised the school's academic program, which offers a strong business and engineering curriculum. White, who held offers from multiple programs, including Rutgers and Boston College, had previously committed to Temple before decommitting in April. With his commitment, SMU adds a talented playmaker to its receiving corps, which is expected to be a strength for the Mustangs in the upcoming season. White is expected to contribute immediately, potentially filling a void left by a departing starter.
