Centennial Hawks Girls Flag Football Recruits: New Scholarship Pathways Emerge
The NMAA flag football pilot district expansion is creating new opportunities for Texas athletes, particularly those from the Centennial Hawks. As the inaugural 2028 season approaches, University of Nebraska's Power 4 program, led by coaches Liz and Katie Sowers, is a top destination for talented flag football players. Nebraska's program offers NCAA Division 1 scholarships, providing a clear pathway for Hawks' recruits. Ottawa University, Kansas, is another national powerhouse with up to 12 NAIA scholarships available. Keiser University, Florida, and Midland University, Nebraska, are also active recruiters.
