Isaiah Smith Commits to Navy Midshipmen
Liberty Patriots wide receiver Isaiah Smith, a Class of 2025 standout, has committed to play football at the United States Naval Academy. The 5-foot-11, 180-pound Smith chose Navy due to the Midshipmen's emphasis on speed and agility in their offense, which aligns with his own playing style. He also cited the opportunity to contribute immediately as a freshman, given the team's current depth chart at wide receiver. Additionally, Smith was drawn to the Naval Academy's rigorous academic program and the opportunity to earn a degree from a prestigious institution while serving his country. Smith was previously committed to the University of Nevada, but reopened his recruitment in March. He has been a key contributor to the Liberty Patriots' offense, hauling in 25 receptions for 375 yards and three touchdowns as a sophomore. Smith's commitment to Navy adds to the Midshipmen's growing recruiting class.
