Jayden White Commits to University of Houston
Reno Huskies tight end Jayden White has committed to the University of Houston for the Class of 2025. White, a 5A prospect, chose the Cougars over other top offers. The 6-foot-4, 220-pound athlete fits into Houston's high-powered offense, which features a pass-happy scheme that should play to his strengths. White is expected to compete for a spot on the depth chart as a redshirt freshman, potentially serving as a backup tight end or H-back. The University of Houston's strong academic programs, including its business and engineering schools, were also a major draw for White. He had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in April, ultimately choosing the Cougars. White's commitment adds to Houston's growing list of top recruits for the 2025 class.
