Notre Dame has extended an offer to Class of 2026 kicker Devon Thompson of Monroe Woodbury High School. The 6-foot-2, 185-pound specialist has a strong leg, consistently booting kicks over 50 yards in practice. Thompson has also shown accuracy, making 80 percent of his field goal attempts in summer camp drills. The Crusaders' standout kicker has already received offers from Syracuse and Rutgers, and is also being courted by Boston College. Thompson's recruitment timeline is heating up, with plans to announce his decision in late summer. He will participate in a series of kicking camps and combines throughout the summer, including the prestigious Kohl's Kicking Camp in July. As Thompson continues to hone his skills and weigh his options, the Notre Dame offer is a significant development in his recruitment process.
