Canandaigua Braves standout flag football player, junior Emily Wilson, has caught the attention of the University of Nebraska's inaugural 2028 season coaches, Liz and Katie Sowers. The Power 4 school's interest in Wilson stems from her exceptional speed and agility on the field. Additionally, Ottawa University, Kansas, and Keiser University, Florida, have also expressed interest in Wilson's recruitment. Both NAIA powerhouses offer up to 12 scholarships to female flag football players. Midland University, Nebraska, another active recruiter, has also reached out to Wilson's coaching staff. As Wilson begins her junior year, she can take concrete steps to solidify her recruitment, including creating a highlight tape and reaching out to coaches at these verified scholarship programs.
