Crusaders' Elijah Thomas: From ACL to Anchor

๐Ÿ“ Monroe Woodbury CrusadersยทWednesday, July 29, 2026ยทFridayNightPulse Insider

At 6-foot-4, 275 pounds, Monroe Woodbury OL Elijah Thomas has made a seamless transition from backup to starting left tackle. Last season, Thomas averaged 3.5 blocks per game, a crucial role in the Crusaders' 4-2 record. Thomas's journey to the starting lineup wasn't without challenge, however. He suffered a season-ending ACL injury in 2024. Determined to regain his spot, Thomas spent countless hours in the weight room and on the practice field, rehabilitating his knee and refining his technique. As a result, Thomas has emerged as a key component of the Crusaders' AA division title push. With his size, strength and agility, Thomas is a force to be reckoned with in the trenches. Scouts are watching for Thomas's ability to consistently block defenders and protect his quarterback's blind side.
