Warriors Break Ground on $1M Facility Upgrade
The Wayne Warriors, a Division I program from Huber Heights, officially broke ground on a $1 million facility upgrade Friday. The renovation aims to improve player safety, enhance training facilities and boost competitiveness in the highly competitive Greater Western Ohio Conference. The Warriors finished last season 7-3, narrowly missing a playoff spot. The upgrade is expected to attract top recruits and bolster the program's chances in the upcoming season. Warriors head coach will oversee the project, which includes new locker rooms, a state-of-the-art weight room and upgraded practice fields. The upgraded facilities are expected to be completed in time for the start of the season, giving the Warriors a strong foundation for success in the fall.
