Isaiah Johnson Commits to Navy
Archbishop Moeller Crusaders running back Isaiah Johnson has committed to the United States Naval Academy. The Class of 2026 standout, who stands 5-foot-11 and weighs 195 pounds, chose Navy over other Division I offers. Johnson's commitment comes after a successful summer camp session with the Midshipmen's coaching staff. The Crusaders' offense, which features a pro-style scheme, is expected to benefit from Johnson's versatility and athleticism. He is likely to compete for a starting role at Navy, where the depth chart at running back is expected to be competitive. Johnson also cited the Naval Academy's rigorous academic program as a major factor in his decision. Johnson had previously committed to another program but reopened his recruitment in April.
