The Stillwater Pioneers football program announced Friday the hiring of Ryan Jenkins as its new strength and conditioning coordinator. Jenkins replaces longtime coordinator Mark Jones, who retired after the 2023 season. The Pioneers, a 5A program, finished 8-4 last season and advanced to the second round of the playoffs. Jenkins' hiring is expected to have a significant impact on the team's recruiting efforts, as the program looks to build on its recent success. With the addition of Jenkins, the Pioneers' coaching staff now has a full complement of assistants ahead of the upcoming August camp. Jenkins brings 10 years of experience in strength and conditioning to the position, including stints at several top programs in the state.
